A Parenting Support Program of Choices Resource Center
 Anticipating the birth of a child can be overwhelming, exhilarating, scary, or exciting.
You might feel all of those emotions in the space of a single day. At Choices Resource Center, we want to help you prepare for the arrival of your new little one.
Heart~2~Heart Parenting Classes meet on Monday evenings beginning at 5:30 at Choices Resource Center, 140 E. Division Road, Suite C-2, Oak Ridge, Tennessee.
Volunteer teachers who are experts in their fields teach on many different topics including
- Baby Care Basics
- Disciplining your child
- Budget Crunching
- Benefits of Breastfeeding
- Baby Medical Emergencies
- Search for Significance
- Baby Massage
- How to Handle Stress
- Eating well on a budget
Classes are conducted in an informal, relaxed atmosphere with plenty of opportunities to participate in discussion and ask questions. Class attendance is completely confidential, as are all other services at CRC.
An added bonus of the Heart~2~Heart program is practical help from the “Stork’s Nest” Baby Shop. You’ll earn “BabyBucks” which you can use to buy baby equipment, clothing, diapers, and other necessities for that new little person. Maternity clothes are available free of charge to stretch your clothing budget.
